About

Formerly a school teacher, then a photographer and videomaker, I explored many art forms before ceramics took hold.

Today, from my studio in Morges, Switzerland, I shape stoneware by hand: tableware, vases and jewelry, wheel-thrown, slip-cast in molds or built from slabs and coils. I develop my own glazes, formulated without lead or cadmium, for pieces made to be used and to last.

KÖ is ceramics shaped with care and driven by a search for quiet beauty in everyday objects.
