Welcome to Indabeez. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Indabeez is a Swiss platform that helps emerging creators (music, visual arts, literature, performing arts, etc.) get discovered by professionals (labels, programmers, publishers, venues, festivals), supported by the public and recognised in their field. The platform is operated from Switzerland.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Indabeez.
• You must provide accurate, current information when creating your account.
• You must not impersonate another person or entity.
• One account per person (creators may have multiple distinct artist projects, but each profile must represent its actual project).

3. Account types

Indabeez offers several account types:

• Creator: independent creators publishing original work.
• Supporter: audience members supporting creators with Beez. Active supporters can earn a badge by backing creators early, before they receive editorial recognition.
• Pro: labels, agents, festivals, publishers, venues and media who scout and support creators.
• Organization: cultural structures, associations and non-profit institutions.

4. Content and ownership

You own everything you publish on Indabeez.

• You retain all intellectual property rights on your content (text, images, music, video).
• You grant Indabeez a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content within the platform for the purpose of running the service.
• This license ends when you delete your content or your account (except for minimal backups kept for legal compliance).
• We will never sell your content, license it to third parties without your consent, or use it in advertising outside Indabeez.
• This licence is NON-EXCLUSIVE: you remain free to publish, sell or assign your works anywhere, including on other platforms. Indabeez claims no exclusivity over your work.

5. Authenticity charter (creators)

When you create a creator account, you agree to the Authenticity Charter (see /charter.php): original work, clear AI declaration, no identity usurpation, full rights ownership. Violations may lead to account suspension.

6. Forbidden uses

You must not:

• Post content that infringes intellectual property rights, is defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or illegal.
• Harass, threaten, dox or stalk other users.
• Impersonate other people or entities.
• Send spam, bulk messages, or commercial promotions outside designated areas.
• Manipulate the Beez system, follower counts, or any ranking (fake accounts, bot networks, paid Beez).
• Scrape, copy or republish other users' content without permission.
• Attempt to access other accounts, exploit vulnerabilities, or attack the service.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose under Swiss, EU, or your local law.

7. Beez system

Beez are weekly tokens of support that supporters give to creators. They cannot be bought, sold, traded or converted into money. They reset every week. Any manipulation of the Beez system, for example through fake accounts, is a serious violation and may result in account suspension.

Beez have no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, traded, converted into money or refunded. They are neither a currency, nor a means of payment, nor a security. Indabeez may change how they work, their quantity, or remove them at any time, without compensation.

8. Paid plans

• Paid plans are billed according to the chosen cycle, monthly or yearly.
• You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current period.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current period. No refund for partial periods, except as required by Swiss law (e.g. cooling-off period).
• Prices may change with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscribers keep their old price for the current billing period.
• VAT is included in the displayed price when applicable.
• Right of withdrawal: if you reside in the European Union, you have fourteen days to withdraw from your subscription. By subscribing, you expressly request that the service start immediately and acknowledge that you lose this right once the service has been fully performed. If you have not used the service during that period, write to us: we will refund you.
• Founder rate: the first people to take out a paid subscription may benefit from a reduced rate. This rate is kept for as long as the subscription remains active WITHOUT INTERRUPTION. If it is cancelled, expires or goes unpaid, the rate is permanently lost, including if you subscribe again later.

9. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or the Authenticity Charter.
• You engage in illegal activity.
• You manipulate the platform (fake accounts, bots, etc.).
• You harass or harm other users.

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Status. Deletion is generally permanent (see Privacy Policy for details).

10. Disclaimers

Indabeez is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or specific outcomes (e.g. you will not necessarily get signed by a label). We are not responsible for content posted by other users. Use the platform at your own risk.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Indabeez is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of opportunity. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury.

12. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge having read it.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Any change affecting your rights, your content or the price of your subscription will be notified by email and by a banner in the application, at least 14 days before it takes effect. Wording corrections are signalled only by an updated date and version number. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means acceptance; if you do not accept, you may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time.
